Like many women, I’ve experienced first-hand how confusing and frustrating it can be to navigate hormonal health and conditions like PCOS.
I know what it feels like to live with it, to feel dismissed by doctors, and to wonder if your body will ever work the way it should. After 5½ years of trying, countless disappointments, and finally discovering how to balance my hormones through nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle changes, I conceived naturally.
Now, as a qualified nutrition coach, I help women with PCOS and hormonal imbalances take back control of their health and fertility — with the support, answers, and tools I wish I’d had.

A little about me
I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 17, but it wasn’t until I started trying to conceive that I realised just how much it could impact my life.
Month after month, I’d cling to hope. I’d get the cramping, sore boobs — all the signs that pregnancy might have happened — only to see another negative test. Each time, the disappointment cut deeper. I watched my friends have their second and third babies while I struggled to have one, and I tried so hard not to let resentment take over.
When I asked for medical help, the focus was on quick fixes and invasive surgery rather than finding out why my body wasn’t working the way it should. I felt dismissed. Hopeless. Like I had to just accept that this was my reality.
But I knew something deep down: I had all the right parts, they just weren’t working together. If I wanted to get pregnant naturally, I had to fix my body from the inside out.
The Turning Point


I shifted my focus.
I started eating in a way that balanced my hormones and actually gave me energy instead of draining it. I swapped hours of heavy cardio for resistance training, long walks, yoga, and short bursts of HIIT. I committed to daily vitamin supplements that supported my body where it needed it most.
For the first time in my life, I began ovulating regularly. My body was finally working with me instead of against me — and for the first time, I felt hope.

Two Pink Lines
After three months of regular cycles, I was suddenly “late” again. My heart sank — I thought my body had slipped back into old patterns. But something told me to take a test.
I can still remember my heart pounding as I looked down and saw it: two pink lines. I couldn’t believe it. I kept going back, again and again, just to check that the test was still positive. After 5½ years of trying, it felt surreal.
That was the moment everything changed.
Empowering Women Through Nutrition
I know what it feels like to live in a body that won’t do what you want it to do. To feel dismissed by doctors, to feel broken, to lose hope. I also know what it feels like to take back control, to finally feel in tune with your body, and to get the outcome you thought was impossible.
That’s why I created LK Mama Nutrition — to help women who feel hopeless with their hormones, whether they’re trying to conceive, raising children already, or simply craving balance and energy in their lives.
It took me years of research, trial, and error to get here. My mission is to make sure other women don’t have to go through that same lonely, confusing struggle.
